Dave Somerville is   still   electrifying   the   airwaves    around the world  today.  From  1955 to 1961, it was DAVE?S lead voice that defined the sound of THE  DIAMONDS  on  all  their  timeless  hits from   the   classic  ?Little Darlin??  to  ?The Stroll,? ?Silhouettes?  and ?Why Do Fools Fall  In  Love.?    After   16   Billboard   hits, THE   DIAMONDS   were  honored  with  the prestigious   Canadian  Juno  Hall  of  Fame Award for their contribution  to  international music.    DAVE    SOMERVILLE?S    singing influenced  the  evolution  of   Rock  &  Roll and    many    legendary   artists   including CAROLE KING  and  BOB  DYLAN.   One of THE DIAMONDS?  biggest  fans  was ELVIS.
